Spices of Life

It was a big mistake to step into *MULTIFILLA* with a pocket full with money. I just can’t help it anymore. It was like love at the first sight. When I saw those sample designs for the first time a few months (almost a year) ago, I really really wanna have it. And now I need to master all the technics, after I bought myself:

1. Quilling tool - RM19               2. Quiling Book - RM99        3. Quilling paper strips - RM4

Wanna know what this so called Quilling is all about? Quilling, or paper filigree, is the art of rolling and shaping thin strips of paper to form an image. Like this:

Lovely isn’t it? Wanna try yourself? It’s not so hard to learn the technics.. just roll and pinch, roll and pinch. Pinch the roll into shapes you want, and glue it to make it still. I’ve started quilling basic shapes but haven’t come out with any quilling cards or quilling scrap book yet. It maybe takes some time for me to think of the design first. Perhaps I can come out with a greeting card for JJ’s wedding this Sunday. Before that I need to go to Multifila again, to get more quilling paper strips and the clear craft glue. And then I’ll start quilling.. quilling… and quilling..
